SERVICES

Individual Counseling

At NRG-Coaching, PLLC, individual counseling is more than conversation — it’s transformation. Our sessions are designed to help adults navigate stress, anxiety, trauma recovery, grief, and major life transitions with compassion and purpose. In a supportive, non-judgmental environment, you’ll have space to explore your thoughts and emotions, uncover patterns that no longer serve you, and develop practical strategies for lasting change.

With Natalie’s guidance and over 30 years of clinical experience, therapy becomes a collaborative journey toward healing, clarity, and growth — empowering you to overcome challenges, strengthen resilience, and create a life that feels balanced, purposeful, and whole.

Couples Counseling

At NRG-Coaching, PLLC, we help couples enhance communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. Drawing on certification in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, our approach integrates evidence-based strategies with compassion and clinical insight to foster lasting change.

Whether partners are navigating challenges around intimacy, conflict, or emotional distance, sessions provide a supportive space to learn new skills, heal old wounds, and rediscover the friendship and fondness that first brought them together. The goal: a more fulfilling, harmonious partnership grounded in respect, empathy, and enduring love.

Family Counseling

At NRG-Coaching, PLLC, we believe every family has the capacity to grow stronger together. Our family counseling services help families improve communication, resolve conflict, and navigate life’s challenges with greater understanding and connection.

Using a collaborative and strengths-based approach, we work with families to identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, build healthier ways to communicate, and strengthen the bonds that foster stability and support. Whether addressing parenting concerns, intergenerational tension, or major transitions, sessions are designed to promote harmony, respect, and resilience within the family system.

Group Counseling

Group Therapy is carefully curated, limited-size groups that promote connection, healing, and empowerment. Our programs — including Wellness 4 Women and Thriving Through Transitions — are designed to help participants share experiences, build community, and practice new skills in a supportive environment.

Executive Wellness Coaching

At NRG-Coaching, PLLC, we work with high-functioning professionals, leaders, and purpose-driven individuals who are ready to align performance with well-being.

Executive wellness coaching is designed for those who carry significant responsibility — in their careers, families, and communities — yet recognize that sustained success requires intentional care of the mind, body, and spirit.

Rooted in psychology, neuroscience, integrative health, and values-based living, this structured coaching process supports clients in:

• Strengthening stress resilience
• Optimizing sleep, nutrition, and physical vitality
• Enhancing clarity and decision-making
• Preventing burnout
• Aligning daily habits with long-term purpose

Important Note

Executive Wellness Coaching is distinct from psychotherapy. Coaching is forward-focused and goal-oriented, supporting personal and professional growth rather than the treatment of mental health conditions.

Individuals experiencing significant emotional distress or mental health symptoms may benefit more from psychotherapy services.

Clinical Supervision

At NRG-Coaching, PLLC, we provide supervision and mentorship to licensed professionals and graduate students with a focus on ethical, culturally responsive, and emotionally intelligent social work practice.

Led by Natalie R. Gidney-Cole, LCSW, BCD, who has pursued advanced training and certification in clinical supervision, our approach combines structure with support — empowering emerging clinicians to grow in confidence, competence, and self-awareness.

Supervision emphasizes professional development, sound clinical judgment, and the integration of mind-body-spirit principles into practice. Our goal is to prepare social workers not only to meet licensure standards but to embody excellence, authenticity, and compassion in their professional journey.

Clinical Social Work & Executive Wellness Coaching Explained

Clinical Social Work

Psychotherapy for all
Expert psychotherapist

Clinical Social Work is a specialty area in the profession of social work.  It requires the minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, several years of clinically supervised practice and the successful passing of a state board licensure exam.  Clinical social workers can assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders and behavioral concerns.

My Theoretical Perspective:  My theoretical base is integrative –drawing clinical techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Family (Systems) Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and mental and physical wellness practices.

My experience includes social work in social service agencies, schools, private practice, universities and hospitals – including the Duke UMC Child Protection Team (later, the Center for Child and Family Health) where I assessed and provided treatment to abused and sexually abused children.

Specialty areas include:

  • Anxiety and stress management
  • Depression
  • Interpersonal relationships (including couples, parenting, divorce)
  • Trauma Treatment, including healing from racial trauma
  • Life transitions
  • Loss and grief
  • ADHD
  • Success in School
  • Mindfulness
  • Certified S.P.A.R.C.S. Facilitator (Structural Psychotherapy for Adolescents Recovering from Chronic Stress)
  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy trained (Level 2)
  • Brain Health Professional(Core Training - Dr Amen)
