Caring for the Aging Parent Workshop

Caring for Aging Parents: Support, Understanding, and Strength

 Description:
Caring for an aging parent is a profound journey that blends love, responsibility, and often a mix of complex emotions. This session is professionally facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker with nearly 30 years of experience supporting adults and families.

In this event, we’ll explore the often-unspoken emotional realities of caregiving, including ambiguous loss, family dynamics, and caregiver stress. Our goal is to provide you with evidence-informed strategies and practical tools, ensuring you leave feeling empowered, understood, and equipped to navigate this important role.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understand the psychological impact of caregiving roles on adult children.

  • Learn how to set healthy boundaries and manage family expectations.

  • Gain practical tools for maintaining your own mental and emotional well-being.

Join us in February for a supportive, insightful, and professionally guided conversation. Space is limited to maintain an intimate setting, so please register early. We look forward to welcoming you.
